Pictures I want to include on my
website
On my website I should use at least 4 original photographs I
have taken myself as this is a requirement from OCR. At first I wanted to use
images that would be shocking for the audience, for example, the NSPCC used
images of children surrounded by drugs or children who had been neglected by
their parents. However, as I already knew my video was going to have a surreal
shock factor I decided should just use quite tame images. So, I would like to
include images of young children who have a solemn emotion e.g. crying. However,
after thinking about these images I thought I should create something that the
audience can relate to realistically. So I then thought I should include medium
shots of people head and shoulders; my main idea is to have them smiling to
show that they are happy that they have overcome this abuse. I would like to
include a lot of these pictures as I think this will create a hopeful feel for
my charity. I also think these images should be taken with a plain background.
For example, a white wall as the focus will then be on only the people in the
photographs. To create a happy feel to these images I will have bright lighting
as light denotes happiness.
I would also like to include an image of the people behind
the charity, for example, a group of 5 or more adults who look friendly and
approachable. To make them look approachable I would like them to all be smiling
and be standing next to each other, I will also use a bright lighting again in
this video to keep with the hopeful feel. As this will show my audience that the
charity is legitimate and the people behind the charity truly care about the
charity.
